Great chopper and mini-blender. Goodbye chopping onions and watery eyes. This is an outstanding mini-blender for earning pasta sauces or chopping/blending all sorts of onions, chillis and many others to make curry sauce or merely due to the fact you dont want to chop them separately. It holds about 1 tin of coke in volume so it would be useful if it it was a bit larger sized but all in all, you basically use it two times. Straightforward to retailer, quick and protected to use.
Will work a treat for two people who like dwelling cooking their own dishes.
Splendid item. I am in the circumstance, unusual these days among grownups, of getting unable to chunk into and needing to pulverise every little thing i try to eat - so consider of me as a a single-year-previous, if you like. Speaking as a a person-12 months-previous () i will have to say that, of all the modest counter-top food processors i have tried using (and more than recent several years, i have encountered several) this cuisinart is the very best by a long way. It appears to be to offer fortunately with small portions of any material, proteinaceous or vegetable, up to about 400 mls without having - and this is the crucial position - leaving about 50 percent the things unprocessed and sticking to the sides of the container. I feel this ought to be simply because of its cleverly designed chopping blade, which seems to toss points again towards the centre of the device.
Admittedly it really is noisy, but so what?. One particular rarely wants to change it on for prolonged - and a a few yr ensure, that's splendid. Thank you, cuisinart.

Negative Review of Cuisinart Mini Food Processor
Flimsy, unreliable unit with no durability. I don't normally write reviews whether i think a product is good or bad but i was so disappointed with this i felt i needed to write one. I chose this particular food processor for several reasons: 1). I wanted one for occasional use to make small quantities of simple recipes like dips, purees and sauces or to chop small quantities of food such as herbs, spices, onions etc. I have limited storage and therefore didn't want anything too big or bulky that would take up a lot of storage space 3). A processor with simple and basic functions and not too many accessories etc ( as outlined in previous reasons). Anyway this seemed like a perfect choice as it fit all my requirements and is manufactured by a well known reputable brand, was a decent price and had really good reviews. Unfortunately, the first one that arrived failed to work at all.I spent a long time making sure i hadn't missed anything with the assembly instructions ( which are very simple) i returned that one and the replacement one seemed to work ok initially however after about 1 min of processing the food it ceased to work at all.
I blended the food 10secs at a time with about 15secs in between. Within the first minute of doing this the unit seemed to get really hot and just completely stopped. I left the unit for a good hour before attempting to use it again but it just wouldn't start. I was only blending relatively soft food so it's not as if the unit was being over worked. Very disappointed with this item and have returned it for a full refund.

Splendid Merchandise. I am in the condition, unconventional these times amid older people, of staying not able to chunk into and needing to pulverise anything i take in - so believe of me as a a single-year-outdated, if you like. Speaking as a just one-yr-previous (!) i should say that, of all the compact counter-top rated food processors i have tried out (and in excess of recent many years, i have encountered lots of) this cuisinart is the most effective by a very long way. It appears to be to deal fortunately with tiny quantities of any material, proteinaceous or vegetable, up to about 400 mls with no - and this is the essential point - leaving about fifty percent the things unprocessed and sticking to the sides of the container. I believe this have to be since of its cleverly created chopping blade, which looks to throw matters back in direction of the centre of the unit. Admittedly it really is noisy, but so what? just one rarely wants to swap it on for long - and a three yr assure, that is splendid! thank you, cuisinart. .
Pretty Pleased. I have attempted quite a several small food choppers and this 1 may perhaps price a tiny much more, but looks great in the kitchen area,so its well worth it. Plus its also very uncomplicated to use, it chops onions very well and tends to make good breadcrumbs. I observed the lid uncomplicated to get on and off, which was a problem with my smaller kenwood 1. The shipping was really incredibly rapidly purchased late one particular day it arrived the incredibly future day, and i also had textual content notification when it had been sent. Quite impressed would use this firm once more. .
Love It!. This is the only mini food processor with a gap in the lid for including liquids (for creating mayonnaise). The motor is genuinely effective, so it can only go repeatedly for one moment at a time however, so be warned. My only problem would be that the plastic on the blade appears to be cracking. It has a prolonged guarantee, so i'm not also anxious. I like it. In spite of this, i am continue to giving it a five. It is sturdy and appears great in the kitchen area. It has a extremely compact profile and all tuckes away properly, so it just sits on the shelf. I usually use this terrific very little gadget for earning hummous. I like the fact that you can chop in just one way and then mix in the other. It also can make tzatziki, aioli and all dips genuinely nicely. I find it just the right amount of money. I also employed it for finely chopping walnuts (walnut frangipane topping on mini damson tarts). I cannot recommed this product or service sufficient. I imagine its fantastic. It lives proudly on the shelf. Only my espresso equipment receives far more usage. .

Conclusion of Cuisinart Mini Food Processor
Not only is this a pretty wanting product with a very good excess weight and brushed stainless metal trim, it does a actually very good position of processing modest amounts of moist and dry components. I've chopped in just one go - two medium onions slice into quarters + two massive cloves of garlic left full + a one particular inch piece of ginger minimize in 50 % and a handful of entire new herbs. As opposed to other processors, it chops all the substances, as the blade reaches proper down to the base of the bowl. I also appreciate the dual function and the grind operates equally as properly - it ground a little handful of fennel seeds like a aspiration (which would be shed below the blade in a substantial processor). Talking as a one-yr-old () i will have to say that, of all the little counter-best food processors i have experimented with (and about new a long time, i have encountered numerous) this cuisinart is the most effective by a extensive way.
I imagine this have to be mainly because of its cleverly developed chopping blade, which seems to throw factors back again to the centre of the device. I have experimented with very a couple small food choppers and this 1 may possibly value a small more, but appears to be excellent in the kitchen area,so its worthy of it. Moreover its also quite simple to use, it chops onions quite nicely and makes great breadcrumbs. I discovered the lid uncomplicated to get on and off, which was a trouble with my modest kenwood one. This is the only mini food processor with a gap in the lid for adding liquids (for creating mayonnaise).
I adore the reality that you can chop in a single route and then blend in the other. I also employed it for finely chopping walnuts (walnut frangipane topping on mini damson tarts). We have a magimix food processor which is excellent but the bowl and lid have to have changing each and every couple many years due to the fact they crack. There are two buttons, labelled chop and grind. In use, most points i have chopped demand fewer than 10 seconds blitzing.
That explained, i made a curry for six yesterday and it coped actually well chopping onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes and chillies. The processor coped with everything and chopped the substances properly. The only hitch arrived when i chopped a tin of tomatoes - the tin's contents fitted in the bowl all right but when i whizzed them some of the juice was pressured out among the lid and bowl and some went down the spindle. It's not alluring or challenging like our old magimix but i have commit the stability of my replacement bowl spending budget on a hand-held mixer from andrew james (essentially the two products and solutions cost me £37) which should do the positions that this cuisinart are unable to, like beating eggs and mixing batter and cakes. With its five yr guarantee this mini food processor seems to be a danger-no cost acquire.
Goodbye chopping onions and watery eyes. This is an fantastic mini-blender for making pasta sauces or chopping/mixing all types of onions, chillis etc to make curry sauce or simply just because you dont want to chop them separately. Cuisinart mini food processori selected this mini processor as i preferred anything that would finely chop components for items like thai inexperienced curry paste, quickly and with out me paying ages with a knife. There is a valuable spatula for acquiring all the food out the chopping blade chops herbs, garlic, chillis, ginger, onions all quite finely. I generally use this to chop onions on their individual just to velocity issues up when cooking and keep away from sore eyes.
The only down sides (and they are not big): i attempted making use of it for grinding spices (caraway seeds) but these were seriously way too modest i feel and ended up scratching the plastic bowl. It does cope properly with chopping nuts and so on. The other issue is that the ability is pretty little - this may well appear evident to individuals getting a 'mini' food processor but just bear in mind that it's truly for pastes, dips etcetera. Does fantastic with an onion if i chop it into halves or quarters and typically that's all i genuinely have to have. It appears to be wonderful on our operate area, is small more than enough to suit between the microwave and toaster and thus is used frequently.
I have employed less costly solutions - my mum has a kenwood mini chopper and when i employed that a chip broke absent from the base of the plastic bowl (sorry mum).
Reliable and Effective. Cuisinart mini food processori chose this mini processor as i wanted something that would finely chop ingredients for things like thai green curry paste, quickly and without me spending ages with a knife. I researched carefully on amazon, deciding not to go for the cheapest make but not to spend a fortune either as i wasn't sure how much i would use it. I have not been disappointed. The machine is durable and capable of whizzing up small items of ingredients quickly and effectively. There is a useful spatula for getting all the food out; the chopping blade chops herbs, garlic, chillis, ginger, onions all very finely. I often use this to chop onions on their own just to speed things up when cooking and avoid sore eyes. There are also two holes in the top so you can add oil while it's running when making mayonnaise etc. The only down sides (and they are not major): i tried using it for grinding spices (caraway seeds) but these were really too small i think and ended up scratching the plastic bowl. I would say for that you need a proper spice grinder. It does cope well with chopping nuts etc. In general the bowl is very durable, seems to be made of a decent plastic and washes up well. The other thing is that the capacity is very small - this may seem obvious to people buying a 'mini' food processor but just bear in mind that it's really for pastes, dips etc. And not for e. G. Blending soups or large quantities of anything. Does fine with an onion if i chop it into halves or quarters and often that's all i really need. I am very satisfied with the build quality and the operation. It looks nice on our work surface, is small enough to fit between the microwave and toaster and therefore is used regularly. It's been going strong for a couple of years. I have used cheaper products - my mum has a kenwood mini chopper and when i used that a chip broke away from the bottom of the plastic bowl (sorry mum!). Not as durable as my cuisinart, which is only a few pounds more expensive on amazon. Thanks to all for previous reviews which helped me make the right choice. .
Excellent Chopper and Mini-Blender. Goodbye chopping onions and watery eyes! this is an excellent mini-blender for making pasta sauces or chopping/blending all sorts of onions, chillis etc to make curry sauce or simply because you dont want to chop them individually. It holds about 1 tin of coke in volume so it would be handy if it it was slightly larger but all in all, you simply use it twice. Easy to store, easy and safe to use. Works a treat for 2 people who like home cooking their own dishes. .
