Slick a little retro styling, quite strong and nicely produced, with incredibly sharp (scarily so) chopping and slicing/grating blades. The liquid capability is not that wonderful but personally i adhere to the aged adage that food processors are for solid foodstuff, blenders are for liquids. Also i have had problems with other food processors the jug breaking after a handful of years and it both currently being unachievable to purchase a substitute or it costing extra than the food processor, so i was joyful to discover when i investigated that, should really that arise, then the substitute jug to this only expenses £12. Very Sharp, Efficient, Overall Recommend.. This is very efficient. It makes short work of onions, so much so, that the first time i used it they nearly turned to purée! i use it regularly to make a thai paste with great success. I used the shredder part once and some of the carrots didn't shred properly so will have another go. Make no mistake, the blades are incredibly sharp as reviewers noted. I cut myself quite badly picking up the shredder part and i hadn't even unpacked it fully! i would suggest having the circular shredding blade packed much more securely with a visible warning tape on it. It is v noisy as the odd review noted which is not an issue. It doesn't take up much space which is a plus. The design of the lid means that some food gets trapped. .
Have bought the Rusell Hobbs 18560 today. Unfortunately the instruction book and the second blade - slicer and shredder, are missing. How can I purchase these?
