Seemed like a ineffective gadget but uncovered it to be really useful. I received this as i have just ordered a kitchen support and wished to maximise its use, my preliminary views following it arrived was that it would not be that superior. Even so the children like the chips that it can make, and it usually means that at the time the potatoes are peeled you can have chips within seconds. The only draw back is that they are curved and it does make some more compact bits, but on the entire supplied the time it will save slicing the chips by hand created it worthwhile. I also use it if i am prepping heaps of carrots for dips.
