Great while it lasted. I loved this mixer whilst it lasted. It did pretty much everything i could have asked for from a machine of its price and i loved the multifunctionality. However after 13 months it has stopped working, i have had someone look at it and it turns out that there is an issue with the machine detecting the whisk, beater or dough hook. Unfortunately i now cannot use any of the functions because the safty cut off kicks in when there is no whisk, beater or dough hook connected.
I really am disappointed. I choose this machine because of the great reviews and because kenwood is a name i trust, i have family members who have had their kenwood mixers for years. It seems that their newer products are not up to the same high standard and i wont be buying another. I realise that these mixers are not as expensive as say the kmix but i expect more than 13 months use. Now i have no blender, food processor or mixer.

An excellent buy and would probably be big enough for 5 - 6 people. The splash cover is excellent but make sure you put it on correctly. Still get a few splashes at the back sometimes but not many. My k beater broke after 5 months but as you have to pull it out quite harshly, understandable. Bought a replacement and all is fine. It must have just been weak metal. You need strength in your hand to pull them out, but this their design and is the only thing i feel lets them down. Still an excellent buy and wouldn't be without it. .
