Just right. I needed a blender/liquidiser and wasn't sure which one to go for, then i came across this item it seemed be exactly what i was looking for and a reasonable price. It's very easy to use and clean and for making soups it's so much easier now.
Makes 'exceedingly good cakes'. My 4 year old son loves helping his mum make all types of cakes. It is very easy to use and easy to clean. Needs some thought where to stow itif you have limited cupboard space.

Badly designed. I've owned several food processors of this size over the years. Each one has got slightly more expensive, more complicated and less effective than the last. For example, this kenwood has a chopping blade set in a very complex curving profile which neither chops nor mixes as well as a straightforward flat blade, scatters half the mixture up the sides where it is not mixed back in again, and succeeds in hiding more cake mix on its underside than any processor i have encountered before. Add in the plastic lugs and protrusions on the inside of the bowl itself, making it very hard to scrape clean, and you need to factor up any recipe by 10% to make up for the wastage.
Except that, for all the furious noise and vibration the motor makes (it must be mounted off-centre to achieve this - sounds like a small helicopter taking off), it cannot actually cope with a full load anyway. The motor has two speeds and a pulse control, but they don't make any actual difference to the processing or the noise levels, and the ugly graphics stuck on the casing telling you by indecipherable symbols which speed to use for different purposes are totally meaningless, as 5 out of 6 say 'speed 1/2' anyway. Somebody in the graphics department had to have a slice of the action, i suppose. Sadly s/he was not asked to do anything useful like marking sensibly sized measure levels on the bowl itself (the lines are about 5mm long). Even when fully clicked into place (easy to not do, as it is far from a smooth action), the arrow on the bowl does not quite line up with the one on the body.
