Magimix 4200xl. Have used this item many times for numerous tasks and its perfomance and build quality are superb. Would recomend this product to anyone who enjoys cooking or baking it cuts preperation time by half and is easily cleaned and maintained.
Beats the life out of the whisk. This processor is a heavy and quality item. It comes with 3 mixing bowls, 3 double edged blades, (one of these is plastic and one is a small one to fit the smallest bowl) a geared egg whisk and a spatula. It also comes with 5 round discs,( 2mm slicing, 2mm grating, 4mm slicing, 4mm grating and a french fry/stir fry disc. )the unit is supplied with a storage container that is oddly designed to hold just 4 of the round discs.
(it is possible to get the fourth one in behind the double edged blades. ) i have also two additional ones ariving as a promotion, so i do not know where these will go. I use the large bowl mainly for baking and the medium one for fruit and vegetable slicing. The smallest bowl can be useful for making baby food etc. The manual is available to download as are the recipes.

Fantastic Piece of Kitchen Equipment. I researched food processors very carefully and for quite a long time before i made my purchase. I have only had this item for nearly four weeks and already could not do without it. It chops, mixes, blends effortlessly and the extra wide spout lets you throw in vegetables and ingredients with minimal preparation. I make scones and cakes in minutes and prepare all of my vegetables for batch cooking in the blink of an eye. Brilliant!.
Worth the Extra Money.. Great machine - use it all the time. Extra capacity over the 3200 worth the extra cost. Extra wide feed tube also useful if processing a lot of veg. .

The big funnel is only useful for processing big pieces of vegetables, but i use a knife and chopping board for that. This is useful to print your favourite recipes to stop you ruining the manual in the first weeki find the unit fantastic for making cake mixes and batter etc but not so good for vegetable slicing. It is large and can cope with quantities but the small bowls are useful when less is needed. I read other reviews and agree that the 'spill' of food bits and liquids from one bowl into another when using the smaller bowls is irritating. I have grated potatoes for rosti, grated bread and chopped herbs into it for seasoned breadcrumbs and sliced citrus fruits for marmalade with ripper results. Only a few small complaints - it's a bit fiddly to construct the appropriate combination although i'm getting more used to it now, the blades could be labelled more clearly but again it gets easier to work out which is which, the container for the accessories isn't big enough to accomodate everything - especially as there was an offer of 2 extra blades - so i will have to buy a tupperware box. My kitchen would not be the same without it. Returned to a magimix after using a cheaper food processor - the quality is great as ever.
The combination of this and a quality hand blender for small jobs has replaced all my other gadgets and freed up worktop & cupboard space.
Magimix 4200xl Food Processor. Very heavy, but that means it doesnt move when its working, and there is a lot of washing up afterwards due to the design of the bowls. Other than that, its very effective and versatile, so in general, very pleased. .
Recommended. Used this for about a month now and really impressed. It's robust and reasonably compact when stored, and in use it does the job in a second. Complaints aside i am really impressed and use it all the time - i was worried that after a few weeks it would sit unused in a cupboard but that isnt the case at all. .
