Yes a minor noisy but so are all mixers for the handful of minutes they are on. My daughter and i make cakes and we enjoy it. I purchased it with the extras and no i have not employed them but but for the value it was well worth incorporating them. Incredibly happy with my obtain.

Did not meet my expectations. Looks the part but mixers were of low grade metal, had to remove the bowl to mix dough and cake battery by hand as the paddles and hook did not mix well. Requested to return item as it is not what i need.
