Disappointing. The scales work fine, nice display and seemed accurate. The only let down, was that after 4 months the lettering started to rub off. Emailed andrew james and they did offer a replacement, but i was not confident the new one would last so therefore asked for a refund. There customer service was appalling and probably one of the worst i have had to deal with, repeatability telling me it out of the 30 day warranty and was down to cosmetic wear and tear.
Not sure why i found myself telling them that kitchen scales primarily were in a kitchen environment, liquids, ingredients etc all required wiping the scales with a damp cloth. Still they insisted no refund. After several emails, i called them and quoted the consumer act, that an item had to last a reasonable length of time, fit for purpose etc etc, of which 4 months was not.Full refund inc p&pi have other andrew james products which are excellent and that is the reason why i chose these scales.
