The shredder chopped my onions very well, if more time than a standard chop and definitely practical that it goes straight into the bowl under. The only thing i miss out on is a basic processor mixer / chopper blade and this is not available, i guess since they have carried out away with a dedicated processor bowl. I did a good deal of investigate, and have no regrets, i really like it and it has presently experienced lots of admiring responses.
